Price, Hang, and Tag!

Price Your Items
Items priced well, sell well! We recommend that you price your clothing and accessories at 25-35% of retail value. Our guide for gear and furniture is 35-50% of retail value. When pricing, consider what you would be willing to pay. Coordinating outfits tend to sell well. The more affordable your items, the more likely they will sell before the 50% sale day. See this form for our childrens and maternity sizing conversion chart.

  • Choose if you want your items to be reduced 50% on Sunday and/or donated if they do not sell. With our on-line tagging program you choose these options for each item individually.
  • Create and print tags online. Tags need to be printed on cardstock. Please only use your general everyday quality setting for printing so that your barcodes scan properly. Use Internet Explorer when you print your tags also or they may not print properly. Please contact us with any questions or if you do not have access to a computer and/or printer. We will work with you.

Hang
Please do not bring clothing on wire hangers. Hang your items with the hanger hook facing the left, like a question mark (?). Please have your clothing items sorted by size and gender before you arrive at our drop-off. Rubber band, zip tie or CLEARLY group together all hangers of like-sized and same gender clothing. If items aren't sorted we won't accept them.

Tag
Attach the tags in the left seam so that you do not create holes in your clothing!

  • Items that are not hung need to have a tag secured to them. Consider using painter’s tape to secure tags to books. For other items, tape and zip ties work great!
  • It is a good idea to keep smaller items like hats, socks and shoes grouped together in plastic bags. Tape tags to the front of the bag. Please do not place tags inside the bags.
  • If you have large items with multiple pieces please make sure that the pieces are all secured together.
